The launching of the Nokia Developer The Ekosystem recently held by Nokia Indonesia received very enthusiastic support from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Kemenkominfo).
The inauguration ceremony Noia Developer Ecosystem is intended to create an ecosystem that aims to develop a talent or talents that are owned by local developer from Indonesia to create mobile applications. It is a commitment from Nokia Indonesia to pay special attention to talented local application developers to create a mobile application and also support government efforts in order to improve national telematics industry through INICTA.
"Development is intended to improve the economy of ecosystems and the business industry in Indonesia. Hence the problem becomes the obligation of all parties. We assess the ecosystem of local developers, directing and marketing the work of local developers that will open up wider opportunities and create more talent because of the direct delivered to the community, "said Ashwin Sasongko, Director General of Informatics Applications, Kemenkominfo, at Kartika Expo, Balai Kartini, Jakarta, (26/07/2011).
Saso adds that Kemenkominfo appreciates and supports the efforts of Nokia to initiate, facilitate and develop local developer ecosystem, allowing application developers Indonesia to produce work that can be proud of and encourage them to global scale. In this case the government also hopes to earn foreign exchange from terpakainya applications made by local developers Indonesia which will be downloaded by people all over the world. Because Ovi Store service now covers 190 countries in the World.
"With the Nokia Ovi Store, Nokia Indonesia is able to introduce and market all the work of local application developers from Indonesia to the international level," said Haryati Lawidjadja, Head Office of Ecosystem and Developer Experience, Nokia Indonesia.
